Myopia Control in West Orange, New Jersey

Myopia Control (or Management) is recommended for any child with myopia. Treatments are most effective in young children, when myopia is expected to progress faster, but they can also be effective in slowing the progression of myopia in older children and young adults. Treatment may also be useful in children or young adults who do not yet have high myopia but meet 1-2 of the following criteria: both parents are myopic, the child spends limited time outdoors, and they engage in excessive near work.

Vision Therapy in West Orange, New Jersey

Poor visual skills can obstruct one's ability to succeed in school, work and sports. Vision therapy develops and enhances the fundamental visual skills and abilities, which leads to increased visual comfort and enhanced information processing. When the eyes and brain learn to work together as a team, visual functioning improves, and struggles in the classroom or at work can be alleviated.

Reviews from Our Patients
Just went to West Orange Family Eyecare for an eye exam. I was able to easily make an appointment that fit my schedule. At the office, I was seen immediately and the eye exam was thorough for both the exam and contacts fitting. The optometrist was friendly and explained everything she was doing and answered all of my questions. Similarly picking out and ordering new glasses was fast and easy.
